DL HERITAGE is a general contractor specializing in conservation-restoration of works of art and heritage. DL HERITAGE is a unique company, which links the expertise and the extensive knowledge of a qualified art conservator with the savoir-faire and abilities of a general contractor. DL HERITAGE specializes in the conservation-restoration of public artworks, sculptures, monuments, industrial artifacts and paintings. When preserving each cultural object, DL HERITAGE always takes into consideration its unique character and its physical origin, as well as ensuring that the vision of its creator is respected. Our company meets the most stringent requirements for conservation-restoration work, as well as for on-site safety. In our business, we follow and respect the standards established by the Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property (CAC), the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators (CAPC), and the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (IIC). Moreover, our general contractor licence assures our clients of the understanding and respect of the laws and standards governing our work on-site.

David has a bachelor’s degree in plastic, visual and spatial arts from the ESA le 75 in Belgium and he has completed a training course in art history. He also holds a diploma from the Canadian Working Divers Institute of Ontario, as well as a technical diploma in work access by rope from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians. After more than fifteen years of experience working in construction in Belgium, Ontario and Quebec, David has developed a vast knowledge as a laborer, bricklayer, painter, carpenter, cabinetmaker, deep-sea diver, welder, rope access technician and foreman.

Laurence has a master’s degree in Art Conservation from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University in Montreal and a college diploma in the same subject. She has also been trained in general and organic chemistry at McGill University in Montreal. Laurence is a member of the Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property (CAC/ACCR), the Groupe des Restaurateurs de la Région de Montréal (GRRM) and the American Institute for Conservation of Historic & Artistic Works (A.I.C.).
